4) Mental Health:
Deepika Padukone has always been vocal about mental health. The actress revealed that Ranveer was patient with her and created a safe space for her to just open up back then even when he didn’t know what to do and wasn’t aware much about the mental health topic. “He was just there,” she said.
KJo also went on to recall the moment when he had a panic attack at the launch of NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) in April this year.
5) When Ranveer Met Deepika’s Parents For The First Time:
One of the show stealing moments was when Ranveer talked about his first meeting with Deepika’s family. He had met DP’s parents, her sister and a couple of friends who they consider as family members. The RRKPK actor revealed that Deepika whispered in his ears, “Listen I’m gonna tell them now. And I was like ‘don’t’. Don’t even think of it.”
He added, “Then, suddenly, absolutely out of nowhere, she was like ‘you know he proposed marriage to me and I said yes.” He further added –
“I got into their room in their Bangalore home and I put my ear to the door and outside Amma and Deepika are having it out. She’s saying, ‘who is this guy? He proposed marriage and you said yes also?’ And I was like please God help me. Then it took a lot of work on my part to place myself in Amma’s heart and now I think I’m one of her favorite people in the whole world.”
