After the Dostana 2 controversy, the actor-filmmaker duo is all set to collaborate on an epic war drama.
The heartthrob of Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan is celebrating his 33rd birthday today (22nd November 2023) and we wish him the best!
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor took to Instagram and shared a cute picture of him with his fur baby, Katori.
Kartik Aaryan-Karan Johar New Movie:
On the occasion of his birthday, Kartik announced a new movie with Karan Johar. The yet-to-be-titled epic war drama will be jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Ektaa R. Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.
Directed by Sandeep Modi (The Night Manager, Aarya fame), the movie is scheduled to release in theatres on 15th August 2025!
Announcing the same, the actor wrote –
“An unforgettable chapter of our glorious Indian history full of valour and sacrifice is now going to be part of my life 🇮🇳 a subject close to my heart… super proud and excited to embark on a new journey with the extremely talented @sandeipm and the powerhouse @karanjohar and @ektarkapoor 💥”
On the other hand, KJo also expressed his excitement and wrote –

As per reports, the movie is a big-budget war drama which is based on true events and will be made on a large scale.
For the unversed, Karan Johar-Kartik Aaryan had a fallout back in 2020 after the latter backed out of Dostana 2.
