Pankaj Tripathi starrer Main Atal Hoon movie gets a new release date.
The film is the biopic on India’s former Prime Minister, Atal Vihari Vajpayee.
Directed by 3-time National Award winner Ravi Jadhav, Main Atal Hoon was previously scheduled for December 2023 release. However, the release date has been pushed to next year.
Headlined by National Award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi, the film is based on the extraordinary life journey of India’s beloved three-time Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Based on the book, The Untold Vajpayee: Politician And Paradox by Ullekh NP, the film revolves around former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life, who was one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).
Previously, the movie was titled – Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye – Atal.
On Tuesday (28th November), the makers announced the new release date of Main Atal Hoon on social media along with fresh posters.
Tripathi’s brilliant transformation has left everyone in awe.

In cinemas on 19th January 2024!
Unveiling four striking new posters, Tripathi wrote – “Heart of Gold… Man of Steel… A versatile Poet… The visionary behind the New India. Witness the story of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, #MainATALHoon in cinemas 19th January 2024.”
The movie is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan & Kamlesh Bhanushali in association with 70MM Talkies and co-produced by Zeeshan Ahmad & Shivv Sharma.
Talking about him playing the role of the late PM, Tripathi had said in a statement –
“It’s my honour to portray such a humane politician on screen. He was not just a politician but so much more, he was an excellent writer and a renowned poet. Getting to be in his shoes is nothing but a privilege for an actor like me.”
