Though Bishnoi is in jail, a Facebook account posing as the gangster had targeted Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal, warning him about getting too close to Salman Khan. Gunshots were heard outside Grewal’s Canada house – and the attack was allegedly on Bishnoi’s orders.
The threatening message read – “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. Shaken by the attack on his house, Grewal said, “I have no friendship with Salman Khan and the anger of it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking and I am unable to process what has happened to me.”

Salman Khan already has Y+ security. The police are reportedly trying to trace the IP address of the recent threat sender and have reviewed Salman’s security.
“We have also written to the social media platform to check where the post has been generated from, whether the social media accounts is genuine of Bishnoi and who handles it as Bishnoi is in jail. We are trying to find the Internet protocol address,” a police officer said.
