Dunki Drop 4 has been dropped earlier today! After treating the audience with Dunki Drop 1 (teaser), Dunki Drop 2 – Lutt Putt Gaya and Dunki Drop 3 – Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se, the makers have dropped the much-awaited Dunki movie trailer.
Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan‘s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani. The movie promises to be a rollercoaster ride filled with emotions, love, friendship, drama and nostalgia.
The trailer opens with Hardy (played by Shah Rukh Khan) narrating his story while standing on a edge of a train compartment. Hardy narrates his story, which is set in 1995 and begins in a village named Laltu, where he meets his 4 four spirited friends – Sukhi, Manu, Baggu and Balli.
He then introduces his friends, including Sukhi (Vicky Kaushal), who struggles with English, Manu (Taapsee Pannu), Hardy’s “girl wali friend” who always defends him whenever he is mocked for his bad English.
All four of them share a common dream of moving to London to pursue better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home.
Sharing the trailer, SRK wrote –
