Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki movie budget has allegedly been revealed!
As per reports, this is SRK’s cheapest film in the last 6 years!
After his stellar cameo in Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his third release of this year, Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in prominent roles.
Presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, this SRK-starrer is a heartwarming story of a soldier’s journey to keep a promise!
Dunki Movie Budget:
According to a Pinkvilla report, Dunki has been made on a budget of Rs 85 CRORES! However, it doesn’t include the fees taken by its star cast.
The film’s budget, including the print and publicity and except the fees of producers SRK & Hirani, is said to be around Rs 120 CRORES, making it the lowest-budget film of Khan in the last 6 years.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh and Rajkumar have a share in the profits.
As the reports further suggests, Hirani is an “efficient planner and a cautious spender.” He shot the film in just 75 days, out of which SRK shot for the film for 60 days. Reportedly, the actor shuttled between he sets of Jawan and Dunki.
“Dunki has its non-theatrical rights already pre-sold in the range of Jawan, meaning that the makers of the film are already sitting on a massive table profit in the vinicity of Rs 100 crores. The worldwide theatrical share will only add to the profit of the film.”

SRK’s Dunki will have a box office clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar. Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is scheduled to hit theatres on 22nd December.
