Hrithik Roshan’s cameo at the end of Tiger 3 has already started the hype for War 2. The War sequel is being directed by Ayan Mukerji.

RRR actor Jr NTR will be assuming the role of an antagonist opposite Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir in this film. Kiara Advani is rumoured to star as the leading lady of the project.
As per reports, the first schedule was completed in Spain in October 2023. The second schedule will be filmed in Abu Dhabi reportedly.

“NTR Jr is currently shooting for his 30th film, directed by Koratala Siva, and will then begin his first schedule for this film. Aditya Chopra and Ayan have planned a massive action entry shot for him in the film.
Shooting for the portions involving Hrithik and him will commence in February in Mumbai over a month-long schedule. The dramatic portions will be canned first, and will be followed with action sequences.”
It is aiming for the Republic Day 2025 weekend release – 26 January 2025. This Ayan Mukerji directorial is the 6th film in the YRF Spy Universe. The order is as follows – Ek Tha Tiger (2012) Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) War (2019) Pathaan (2023)Tiger 3 (2023)War 2 (2025) Tiger vs Pathaan (2025).
Ayan Mukerji Paid 32 Crores For War Sequel?
If this reports are to be believed, Ayan Mukerji is apparently getting paid to the tune of Rs 32 crores for this project. After Siddharth Anand (Pathaan director), Ayan is said to be the second highest-paid director in the YRF camp.
For the unversed, Tiger Shroff-Hrithik Roshan War was a huge success at the box office, having raked in a collection of 475 crores worldwide!
