Salaar Trailer 2 (Hindi) starring Prabhas, Prithviraj dropped with much fanfare today. It has been helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel, and it also stars Shruthi Haasan, Tinu Anand, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Garuda Ram. Produced by Hombale Films, this actioner has music by Ravi Basrur.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire showcases the fictional Khansaar city, with Vardharaja Mannar (Prithviraj) as the heir and his childhood best friend Deva aka Salaar (Prabhas) who is at his beck and call.

The Salaar trailer 2 has a dark, dystopian vibe and seems to promise a grand visual spectacle with gratuitous violence and high-octane action sequences.
Salaar vs Dunki Clash:
Salaar will release in cinemas in 5 languages – Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi on December 22. It will clash with Rajkumar Hirani’s Bollywood film Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
350-Crore Deal For Non-Theatrical Rights
As per reports, Salaar has raked in a whopping amount of Rs 350 crores for its satellite, digital and also audio rights.
“Though it’s not known how much Star TV and Netflix paid individually, it is learnt that Salaar’s makers have earned a whopping Rs. 350 crores through the sale of their satellite, digital and also audio rights,” a source revealed.
Director Prasanth Neel said, “The idea of making Saalar had come to my mind 15 years ago, but after making my first film Ugram, I got busy with KGF which took me almost 8 years to make. That is, we first started planning KGF and by the time its second part was released 8 years had passed. In this way, the idea of making this film was already in my mind and during Covid, when KGF 2 was not released, we all had a lot of time because we were all sitting at home. So I worked on it a little.”
Prabhas Upcoming Movies:
Prabhas will soon be seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. He also has the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Spirit.
