Poonam made her debut in the 2013 film, Nasha. The movie stirred controversy with its posters and came under the scanner over its bold and provocative images. The posters were pulled down after being tagged as ‘vulgar’ by some religious groups.
5) Legal Hassle With Raj Kundra
Poonam, known for her roles in erotica films, had also made headlines over her legal battles with businessman Raj Kundra. According to reports, Poonam had alleged that she was threatened sign a contract with Kundra and his associates from Armsprime Media.
The legal hassle reportedly revolved around the alleged illegal use of Poonam’s videos even after the expiration of their contract. After Poonam’s refusal, her personal phone number was leaked in retaliation.
6) Poonam Pandey App Ban
In 2017, she had launched her own app called The Poonam Pandey app. As per reports, she would post her bold pictures on this app. Later, the app was banned by the Google Play Store for violating its policies and pulled down for its objectionable content.
7) Arrest For Shooting Obscene Video At Beach
In November 2020, Poonam got arrested in North Goa for allegedly shooting an obscene video. An FIR was lodged against this actress for shooting a vulgar video at a beach in Goa.
