Rakul-Jackky’s love story is nothing less than a Bollywood romance. From being neighbours to becoming friends, then lovers and soon-to-be-married couple, their love story blossomed during lockdown.
Did you know Rakul-Jackky had never crossed paths despite being neighbours for a long time? Soon, they became friends and started spending a lot of time with each other. Things started to grow organically and the would often hang out together and even within their shared circle of friends.
In a conversation with a portal, Rakul had spoken about their journey and said –
“I think it was very organic. We started hanging together and then a couple of months down the line like 2-3 months, 4 months we were just hanging and without any facade of who we are. And the coincidence was we were almost neighbors and we didn’t even knew. We were not even friends for so many years you know. Till the lockdown happened and then we started hanging with our friends and it just very organically grew into comfort.”
The duo made their relationship official on the actress’ birthday on 10th October 2021. Sharing a beautiful picture on Instagram, Jackky had penned a heartfelt note that read, “Without you, days don’t seem like days. Without you, eating the most delicious food is no fun. Sending Birthday wishes to the most beautiful soul who means the world to me!!! May your day be as sunny as your smile ,and as beautiful as you are. Happy Birthday my ❤️.”
After announcing their love out open in the world, the two would often get spotted together at various event, jetting off together for vacations. They would also indulge in PDA, expressing their love for each other.

According to the leaked wedding invite, Rakul-Jackky to have an intimate 2-day wedding on 21st February 2024 (Wednesday) in Goa in presence of close friends and family members.
Reportedly, the couple had initially planned for a destination wedding overseas – in the Middle East -but made a last-minute decision to align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for families to host their wedding festivities within India.
As reported by India Today, they have decided to skip a grand wedding reception in Mumbai and will conclude all their wedding festivities in the beach state itself.
