Actor Shaheer Sheikh is currently basking in the love and response he is receiving for his performance in his streaming debut film Do Patti.
The actor has impressed the audiences with his performance as Dhruv Sood in the film and the audiences loved his intense and solid performance in the film.
Recently the cast of Do Patti visited The Kapil Sharma where the host Kapil Sharma revealed that Shaheer Sheikh is known as Shah Rukh Khan of Indonesia.
Shaheer smiled at this and shared a back story behind this. The actor said,”Shah Rukh Khan is a huge star over there. Every person knows him well. For them, India is represented by Shah Rukh Khan. So, when my show became popular and I did a couple of movies, they started calling me the Shah Rukh Khan of Indonesia.”
Undoubtedly Shaheer Sheikh is a globally recognized name who gained prominence owing to his performance in the superhit television show Mahabharat (2013). His impeccable performance as Arjun in the show made him an overnight sensation and a household name. Following this, his fan base continued to expand across the globe and he also built a loyal fan base for him in the Indonesian market. Shaheer was also featured in Indonesian TV series such as Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal and Roro Jonggrang, where he played lead roles. Besides this, he also hosted several reality and variety shows, including Panah Asmara Arjuna and Asia’s Got Talent, where he appeared as a guest.
