Thama Announced: Ayushmann Khurrana As Vampire?

The cast includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, co-produced by Sharada Karki Jalota and Pooja Prem Patheja.

Releasing in cinemas on Diwali 2025. Ayushmann is rumoured to be playing a vampire in this horror-comedy. His introduction into the franchise was hinted at in the Stree 2 post-credits scene. Nawazuddin will allegedly be seen as the antagonist, a violent character from the past who is looking to take revenge in the present time.

Maddock Supernatural Universe:
This horror-comedy franchise was kickstarted by Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree (2018). It was followed by Roohi in 2021 starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya introduced the concept of werewolves in this horror-comedy series.
Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 emerged as highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024, with a box office collection over ₹884.45 crore worldwide!
