Actor and Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is reportedly expecting his first child with wife Shibani Dandekar.
After dating for four years, the couple tied the knot in 2022 and is one of the most loved Bollywood couples today.
The news of their pregnancy started spreading after Farhan Akhtar celebrated his 51st birthday. The couple has not confirmed the news yet.
Shibani Dandekar, a singer, model, and TV host, married Farhan Akhtar on February 19, 2022.
The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Akhtar’s Khandala farmhouse, surrounded by close family and friends. On February 21, they hosted a reception at his Bandra home.
Akhtar was married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani from 2000 to 2017, and they have two daughters, Shakya and Akira. Bhabani began a relationship with Nicolo Morea, the older brother of actor Dino Morea, in 2017.
Soon after their wedding in 2022, rumors began circulating that Dandekar was expecting. A series of photos from her post-wedding shoot sparked speculation among social media users about her pregnancy.
Addressing the rumors, she took to Instagram and shared a video with the caption, “I am a woman! I am nottttt pregnant! It was the tequila.” She accompanied the message with laughing, rolling eyes, and woozy face emojis.
