There’s been plenty of buzz surrounding the debut of Govinda’s son, Yashvardhan Ahuja. He will be starring alongside Babil Khan in his debut movie.
While it’s already known that his debut film, backed by producer Madhu Mantena, is set to release this year, Filmfare has gone a step further to bring you an exclusive inside scoop!
Sources reveal that late Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, will also be a part of the film. An insider shared, “Yashvardhan’s debut film is coming together well, but the makers were looking for a more established face for a key role. Given Babil’s impressive performances in Qala and The Railway Men, he was brought on board to add the necessary dramatic depth to the project.”

Seeing two fresh talents, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Babil Khan, go head-to-head in a dramatic film is an exciting prospect for movie enthusiasts. The project, reportedly a romantic drama, is being directed by Sai Rajesh, known for Telugu hits like Baby, Hrudaya Kaleyam, and Colour Photo.
A few months ago, Pinkvilla reported that the film’s female lead had yet to be finalized. According to the report, “A nationwide search for the female lead is being led by Mukesh Chhabra, with over 14,000 audition clips received so far. The role will be finalized soon, as the makers plan to begin filming by Summer 2025.”
However, neither Babil Khan nor Yashvardhan Ahuja has officially confirmed any details regarding the project.
