The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films in collaboration with Rakesh Roshan, marking an exciting new chapter for the beloved superhero franchise.
With Krrish 4, fans can expect an even bigger and more ambitious cinematic experience. Production is set to begin in 2026, and anticipation is already sky-high. The script has been locked, and pre-production work is presently going.

Rakesh Roshan, who has directed the previous Krrish films, shared his enthusiasm about passing the torch to his son. “I’m passing the baton of the director of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived, breathed, and dreamt about this franchise since its inception with me,” he said.
He further expressed his confidence in Hrithik’s vision for the film. “Hrithik has a clear and a very ambitious vision of taking Krrish’s journey forward with the audience for the next decades. I couldn’t be more proud to see him wear the director’s hat for a film that means the world to us as a family.”
A major highlight of this installment is the collaboration with Yash Raj Films. Speaking about it, Rakesh Roshan said, “It brings me so much joy to see someone like Adi as the producer of Krrish 4. It was he who convinced Hrithik to sit in the director’s chair. Adi and Yash Raj Films have the knowledge, understanding, and technological might to produce this film and add great value to this project.”
About The Krrish Franchise:
The Krrish franchise began with Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), where Rohit, a boy with disabilities, gains superpowers after meeting an alien. Its sequel, Krrish (2006), follows his son Krishna, who inherits his powers and becomes the masked hero Krrish. Krrish 3 (2013) expands the story with high-tech villains, genetic mutations, and epic battles, making it India’s top superhero franchise.
