Nikkhil Advani is set to bring a historical drama spotlighting the lives of Indian freedom fighters Rash Behari Bose and Sachindra Nath Sanyal and Rohit Saraf is said to be a part of this film.
The upcoming web series will explore their pivotal contributions to the independence movement.
A source close to the production told India Today, “Bhuvan Bam is playing the role of Bengali revolutionary Rash Behari Bose and has already started shooting for the series. In preparation for the role, he has even shaved off his moustache to better embody the character.”

The source further added, “Meanwhile, Rohit Saraf will be seen as Sachindra Nath Sanyal, a close associate of Bose. Interestingly, he has grown a moustache for the role. Pratibha Ranta plays Sanyal’s wife, whom he married as a child.”
The team is presently filming in Madh Island, Mumbai, on a custom-built set designed to recreate early 1900s Bengal. Although the streaming platform hasn’t been officially announced, sources suggest the series is likely to premiere on SonyLIV. Nikkhil Advani has previously delivered successful titles for the platform, including Freedom at Midnight and Rocket Boys.
