When asked if there was ever a script he passed on that later became a huge hit, Bobby revealed something quite surprising. Turns out, some decisions about film offers were made for him.
“Actually, a lot of scripts I didn’t say yes to, ended up not working. Unka record zyada hai,” Bobby said with a laugh.
“There were films I might not have gotten because when I was just starting my career, my dad or brother would sometimes make decisions without telling me. People would approach them, and later on, I found out and felt a bit sorry that I could’ve done that film. But that’s destiny, whatever’s meant to happen will happen, and whatever’s not supposed to happen won’t.”

It’s an honest admission, and something many wouldn’t openly share. But then again, honesty seems to run deep in the Deol household.
When asked what he thinks is his family’s biggest strength, Bobby didn’t even hesitate.
“I think it’s our honesty. We’re very honest, very true, and we’re genuine. It feels a bit odd to say it about ourselves, but we really are genuine and honest. Now that you asked the question, I’m just answering it. That’s what defines us, that’s what we are. There’s nothing like it when you meet people and you feel that genuine connection. We don’t have any agendas or anything.”
But with all that honesty and heart, there’s also a flip side. Bobby opened up about what he sees as their biggest weakness.
“If I say there’s a weakness, it’s that we are very emotional and gullible. We get caught up in what people say, and a lot of folks take advantage of that. It’s happened many times.”
