EXCLUSIVE: “I Don’t Even Know If I Was In Love” – Sooraj Pancholi On His 4-Month Relationship With Jiah Khan
He shared his honest thoughts about his much-talked-about four-month relationship with the late actress Jiah Khan. For the unversed, Sooraj faced a long courtroom battle after Jiah Khan’s tragic death. In April 2023, a CBI court acquitted him of all charges related to her abetment of suicide, citing lack of evidence.

When asked if he is now scared to fall in love again, Sooraj’s answer was refreshingly candid.
“No. I’ve fallen in love 10 times after that. Why stay away from love? Love is the best feeling in the whole world. That time with Jiah, I don’t even know if I was in love. Those four months… Will you fall in love with someone in four months? After that, I was in a relationship for 7 years. Maybe even longer.”
It is clear that Sooraj does not let the past hold him back from embracing love. In fact, he seems to view it as one of life’s greatest experiences. When asked if he is currently seeing someone, Sooraj chose to keep things a little mysterious.
“I’m not really telling you. Actually, I’m not. She’s actually not from here.”
EXCLUSIVE: “I Don’t Express Myself Much Even In A Relationship” – Sooraj Pancholi
Of course, love is not the only thing Sooraj has been reflecting on. He also opened up about personal growth and areas he feels he still needs to work on. When asked about his flaws, the actor admitted that expressing emotions has always been a struggle for him.
“I don’t express myself much, even when I’m in a relationship. I can’t really show sadness or talk when something bad happens or I feel bad, I just stay quiet. Communication is something I really need to work on, fix, and get better at.”
This tendency to bottle up emotions comes from life experiences that have made him cautious.
“Because if I show my weakness to someone, there’s a good chance they’ll use it against me. When you show your weakness, people start taking you for granted. I’ve learned this, even from some really good people, that if you show too much weakness, you’ll just get labeled as a pushover.”
