EXCLUSIVE: Nimrat Kaur On Trolling – “As Long As My Conscience Is Clean, That’s What Matters To Me”
In an honest chat with Instant Bollywood, Nimrat Kaur spilled the tea on how she deals with the chaos of social media. And let’s just say, she’s all of us.

When asked about online love and hate, Nimrat said she tries not to get carried away by either. “I don’t take the love or the hate too seriously,” she admitted. If someone’s praising her, she lets herself enjoy it for a second… and then moves on. Because if she starts depending on that high, the hate will hit just as hard. Smart, right?
She knows it’s tricky though, especially being an actor. “We’re always chasing opinions,” she explained. Did people like my performance? What didn’t they like?
And thanks to social media, now everyone and their cat has an opinion. On trolling, Nimrat didn’t hold back.
“Some of the things people say are just downright disrespectful,” she said. And it’s not just about her. She feels bad even when she sees mean comments about others. “They have families. We all do,” she added.

So, does she have a thick skin? “I’m not thick-skinned. I wish I was,” she said. And honestly, who is? But instead of reacting online or firing back, Nimrat keeps her feelings within her inner circle. “Why give that space any validation?” she shrugged.
At the end of the day, she says it’s all about having a clean conscience.
“As long as my conscience is clean, that’s what matters to me. If I haven’t harmed or disrespected anyone, not to their face and not behind their back, I’m good.”
Basically, Nimrat’s approach is a reminder we all need. Scroll, smile, maybe cringe a little… then move on. Don’t let the trolls rent space in your head. They’re just not worth the emotional real estate.
