Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer romantic comedy Param Sundari may have opened to mixed reviews, but it has managed to carve its place at the box office.
The film collected ₹28.48 crore in its opening weekend, even surpassing the lifetime collection of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.

Alongside its growing performance, details about how much the lead cast earned have now been revealed.
At the forefront is Sidharth Malhotra, who reportedly charged between ₹10–12 crore for headlining the film. His co-star Janhvi Kapoor, who plays Thekkepattu Sundari, is said to have been paid between ₹4–5 crore.

The supporting actors were compensated on a smaller but significant scale. Sanjay Kapoor, essaying the role of Sidharth’s father, earned around ₹50 lakh for his part. Meanwhile, Manjot Singh, who played a friend’s role, reportedly received ₹25 lakh.
The revealed fee structures shed light on the film’s budget and star value distribution. With Sidharth leading the pack, Janhvi balancing as the female lead, and the supporting cast adding depth, Param Sundari clearly invested heavily in its ensemble to appeal to both mass and youth audiences.
