Lesser Known Facts About Harshvardhan Rane: From Rs 10-a-Day Waiter To 100-Crore Star!

Born in Gwalior, Harsh ran away from home at just 16 to chase his acting dreams. Inspired by actor Sharad Kelkar, he packed his bag with just Rs 200 and headed straight to Delhi. What followed were years of pure hustle. He worked as a waiter earning Rs 10 a day, with a humble plate of chole-chawal as his daily meal. He also took up every odd job he could find, from working in STD booths and cyber cafés to doing delivery runs across the city.

Harsh eventually joined a call centre, not because he wanted a career in it, but because he wanted to learn English. “At call centres, they used to give training in soft skills and English,” he shared. That determination to learn and grow never left him.
