Border further cemented Sunny Deol’s image as Bollywood’s ultimate patriotic action hero. His portrayal of Major Kuldip Singh remains iconic for its intensity, thunderous dialogues, and raw nationalism. Lines like “Dharamveer, dushmano ke haath shaheed hone se jung jeeti nahi jaati, unhe goli maar kar jeeti jaati hai” continue to resonate with fans decades later.

Suniel Shetty’s role as Bhairon Singh also became unforgettable. In a symbolic passing of the torch, his son Ahan Shetty now steps into the Border universe in Border 2, playing Indian Navy officer M. S. Rawat. With such a legacy behind him, expectations are understandably high.
