In a heartfelt message to listeners, Arijit thanked everyone for the love he has received over the years and reflected on his journey as a film singer. He wrote, “Hello, Happy new year to all. Naturally, the internet panicked for a moment. But Arijit followed this up with a detailed explanation, making it clear that this decision did not come overnight.

In another note, he shared, “There is not one reason behind this, there are several reasons plus I have been trying to do this since a long time. Finally I have gathered the right courage.” One of the reasons, he admitted quite honestly, was boredom.

“I get bored pretty quick, thats why I keep changing arrangements of the same songs and perform them on stage. So here is the thing, I got bored. I need to do some other music to live.”

He also spoke about wanting fresh inspiration and growth, adding that he looks forward to hearing new singers who might motivate him creatively. Most importantly, Arijit stressed that this is not a goodbye to music.

He said, “I am going to go back to Indian classical music. I wanna go back to making music. I wanna start again.” Calling himself a lifelong learner and a fan of good music, he assured fans that he would continue creating independently.

Before anyone could assume this was a sudden exit, Arijit clarified that he still has pending commitments, which means audiences may hear new releases this year. “So you might get some releases this year. Just to be clear that I won’t stop making music.”

Arijit Singh Last Song:

As of now, Maatrubhumi from Battle Of Galwan stands as his latest released song, and his future film projects remain undisclosed. What is certain, though, is that Arijit Singh is choosing evolution over comfort.

For fans, it may feel emotional, even unsettling. But if there is one thing Arijit’s music has taught us, it is that change, when honest, can be beautiful!
