Salim Khan Health Update: Salman Khan’s Father Undergoes Surgery!
Veteran screenwriter and filmmaker Salim Khan is currently under medical care after being admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on February 17, 2026.
The 90-year-old’s health reportedly declined after he experienced a sharp spike in blood pressure that allegedly led to internal bleeding on the right side of his brain following which he was rushed to the emergency ward around 8:30 am by the family’s trusted physician, Dr. Sandeep Chopra.
Soon after, Salman Khan’s father was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close monitoring. Addressing concerns, Dr. Jalil Parkar shared an update that brought much-needed relief.

“He (Salim Khan ) has undergone surgery and is now kept on a ventilator. His condition is stable but he’s under close observation.”
The Khan family has been by his side as fans across the country send prayers and warm wishes. Here’s hoping the legendary writer recovers soon and is back home, surrounded by love, laughter, and stories only he can tell.
