Rhea is currently in Byculla Jail after being arrested by NCB, with judicial custody extended upto October 6. Her bail plea will be heard tomorrow, 29th September.
Chakraborty has alleged that she is being subjected to a witch-hunt. In her bail plea filed in the Bombay High Court, she has claimed that she is innocent and NCB is “deliberately” trying to invoke stringent charges against her and her family.
Before her arrest, Rhea had also filed an FIR against Sushant’s sisters Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh along with Dr Tarun Kumar, alleging abetment to suicide.
