Kareena Kapoor Khan has turned down Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa if the latest reports are to be believed.
As per Midday, Kareena decided to let go of the project even though she loved the story. Read on to find out the reason –
A source revealed that since Kareena is already headlining the female-centric project ‘The Crew’ with Tabu and Kriti Sanon, she didn’t want to take up a similar template. And her dates were allegedly also not aligning with Jee Le Zaraa.
The source added, “Kareena is committed to another project that rolls by the year-end. Plus, she will have extensive promotions lined up for Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X and her yet-untitled next with Hansal Mehta.”
Recently, news also went viral that Anushka Sharma had been approached to step in for Priyanka Chopra’s role, which she rejected. However, some reports are rubbishing this news, saying PeeCee never opted out.
A source commented – “Anushka has not even been approached for Jee Le Zara. Why should she be? When Priyanka has not opted out. This is some marketing team’s brainwave. The truth is, Anushka wants to devote optimum time to her daughter.”
