Ajay Devgn latest offering, the supernatural thriller Shaitaan, has kicked off its theatrical run with a decent opening at the box office.
Let’s take a look at the day 1 box office collection of Shaitaan which also stars R. Madhavan, Jyothika and Janki Bodiwala.
As per reports, Shaitaan did excellent at the box office on day 1 and collected ₹15.21 crores on Friday. Taran adarsh says, “#Shaitaan takes an EXCELLENT START on Day 1, surpasses *all* estimates and predictions by a wide margin… The film has opened in the same range as #Drishyam2 [₹ 15.38 cr], which had the franchise factor going in its favour… Fri ₹ 15.21 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice. The positive buzz surrounding the movie’s unique supernatural theme and the return of Devgn to the thriller genre could propel its box office performance in the coming days.
