Sunny (played by Varun Dhawan) is hopelessly in love with his ex, Ananya (Sanya Malhotra). Meanwhile, Tulsi (Janhvi Kapoor) is still tangled in feelings for her ex, Vikram (Rohit Saraf). Instead of dealing with heartbreak the normal way, these two come up with an OTT plan – they pretend to be madly in love with each other, just to get their exes to feel the sting of jealousy.
