Mardaani 3 is currently up against Border 2, a full-blown patriotic juggernaut that’s pulling massive crowds with its large-scale action and mass appeal. Despite that, Mardaani 3 has managed to carve out its own space, all thanks to Rani’s screen presence.
With a healthy opening weekend total of ₹17.25 crore, Mardaani 3 has laid a solid foundation at the box office. If the film holds well on weekdays, it could be on track for a respectable and steady run.

This time, Shivani is drawn into a deeply unsettling case involving the disappearance of several pre-pubescent girls. Her investigation leads her to Amma, played by Mallika Prasad, a chilling beggar mafia queen who rules the streets with fear. But what initially looks like a crime network soon reveals something far darker and more disturbing.
Our review – Rani Mukerji is rock-solid and completely convincing, as always. Even when the writing starts feeling predictable and the villain lacks depth, she keeps the film watchable. Unfortunately, the preachy climax and familiar beats make Mardaani 3 feel like the weakest sequel in the franchise.
