All eyes are on one of Bollywood’s favourite couples – Saifeena! Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are soon expecting their second child together.
Saif had previously revealed that Kareena’s due date was sometime early in February.
Saif has two kids; daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan from his ex-wife Amrita Singh. After tying the knot with Kareena in 2012, he welcomed son Taimur in 2016.
While the glowing mommy-to-be is posing and pouting for maternity shoots, Saif has an impressive line up of projects under his belt – Bunty Aur Bubli 2, Adipurush and Bhoot Police. However, the soon-to-be ‘quadfather’ will resume work only post his ‘paternity leave’.
In conversation with Elle India, the Tandav actor opened up, saying he’d taken a paternity leave even when Sara Ali Khan had been born. “Who wants to work when you have a newborn at home! If you don’t see your children growing up, you’re making a mistake. And I can take time off from work—it’s a privileged position. Rather than follow a 9-to-5 routine, I live like an actor. Your dharma and approach to everything are based on your career,” Saif told Elle.
Cricketer Virat Kohli, who welcomed his daughter Vamika last month, had also taken a paternity leave.
