Fans call Kangana Hypocrite for Different Views on Depression in Jiah Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide cases

Date:

In aftermath of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, #nepotism has once again come into spotlight, with everyone adding their two cents. Kangana Ranaut has famously slammed the Bollywood Privilege Club for Sushant’s death.

In this viral video, she has blamed the film industry by raising the question – Was Sushant’s Death Suicide or Planned Murder?

While the majority of the people agreed with her, a section of Twitterati dug into some old quotes, where they found Kangana’s views to be contradictory.

As per Indian Express report, back in 2013 when Sooraj Pancholi was jailed for allegedly abetting actress Jiah Khan’s suicide, Kangana Ranaut had commented on the issue by saying,“Depression is a disease which should be treated like one. When a person chooses to take a step like that it is irrelevant what made them do it. Depression could be triggered by anything. You can’t blame anyone else for that state of mind.”

When the netizens compared her old statement to her new video, they found her views to be contrasting and called out her hypocrisy.
