Sandip Singh on celebrating Sushant’s life and movies

While talking to Bollywood Hungama about Sushant Singh Rajput, close friend Sandip Singh also opened up about beautiful past memories, how Sushant has inspired Outsiders and how the frustration surrounding his death needs to be channelled into celebrating his life and movies instead.

Revealing a beautiful memory of watching the film premiere of Kai Po Che with Sushant, he commented, “While watching Kai Po Che in the theatres, me and Sushant held hands and cried after seeing him on the big screen!”

Talking about how Sushant carved his own niche in the Industry despite being an Outsider, Sandip said – “He was an Outsider, but he has worked for YRF, Dharma Productions and even done two films under a big Director like Abhishek Kapoor!”

Sandip also revealed that Sushant was supposed to work on his film Vande Bharatam, as well as a film with Rumi Jaffery, and Ramesh Taurani.

He stated that Sushant had accomplished so many things at such an early age!

“Itne kam umar mai, itne kamaal ka kaam kiya hai!”

Sandip further added that after Shah Rukh Khan, it was Sushant Singh Rajput who this star that inspired the Outsiders so much!

“We should celebrate his life and his movies. Let’s keep him alive forever!”

While Sandip could understand people’s outrage, he was of the opinion that it should be channelized into positivity instead.

“Frustration ko positivity main nikalo, road par morcha mat nikalo.”
