Fukrey Fans rejoice!
Looks like Fukrey 3 will soon be in the making. Filmmaker Mrigdeep Singh Lamba recently announced that he has finished writing the 3rd installment of the comedy franchise.
Varun Sharma, who played the popular character Choocha in the franchise, expressed his excitement on social media. He wrote – “Oyyyiii Oyyyiii Oyyyiii!! Can’t wait? Fukrey3 Ho gayi hai तैयार❤️”
Pulkit Samrat also shared the picture on his Instagram story and wrote “we are ready.”
Recently, Mrigdeep had said that he was thinking of touching upon the Covid-19 situation in Fukrey 3.
He told the news agency, PTI, “This part too will have a strong message that people will take away and it will be delivered in a humorous way. The original story doesn’t mention it (about Covid-19). But we have been contemplating. We have discussed it. We need to be careful how we show it (Covid-19 situation), it shouldn’t seem forceful.“
Fukrey 3 will reportedly mark the return of its primary cast, including Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh.
