Anurag Kashyap‘s Manmarziyaan released in 2018 starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal. Even though the movie was not a blockbuster, it was loved by many.
According to the latest report by Spotboye, the sequel of Manmarziyaan is in talks with the same star cast.
The report says that Anurag Kashyap is planning to make a sequel of Manmarziyaan with Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal. Abhishek’s career is on a roll as after her Amazon Prime debut with Breathe, he already has two big films lined up, Kookie Gulati’s The Big Bull and Anurag Basu’s Ludo. Manmarziyaan 2 will be his third big project.
Abhishek also received critical acclaim for his role in Amazon Primes’s Breathe and he is also in talks with his all-time favorite Mani Ratnam for another film after Guru and Raavan.
Speaking about the boom in his career, Abhishek says “I don’t think I planned this phase. An actor pours his all into every project. It is not in his hands how the film is eventually received by the audience. You win some you lose some. I suppose I’m winning some right now.”
Meanwhile, the lead actress of Manmarziyaan, Taapsee Pannu is busy shooting for Haseen Dilruba.
