Deepika Padukone’s manager (or should we say ex-manager) Karishma Prakash has once again come under NCB scanner.
Karishma was employed as junior manager on Deepika’s account at KWAN Talent Management Agency. However, now Prakash has resigned from her position!
As per TOI report, a source close to KWAN’s top management confirmed – “Karishma is no longer working with the agency. She had tendered her resignation on October 21 with immediate effect. Her association with Deepika and few other actors was only as a KWAN employee. So naturally those associations would also be severed.”
This information comes in midst of reports of Karishma Prakash not answering NCB’s summons and being ‘untraceable’. She had filed for anticipatory bail, seeking protection from arrest.
Karishma and Deepika Padukone had been interrogated in the Bollywood drug probe in September. Karishma is being probed again after 1.7 grams of charas and at least two bottles of CBD oil were recovered from her Versova residence.
Indian Express report had stated that – NCB officials had claimed Prakash’s name cropped up during the questioning of one of the peddlers arrested by the agency in the case in which it is looking to “bust drug networks around Bollywood”.
