Kareena Kapoor Khan

As per a report, the beautiful Kareena plans on spending her Diwali with her tiny tot, little Tim, and her Saifu, who is currently in Dharamshala shooting for his film Bhoot Police.

Mommy to be Kareena plans on taking Taimur all the way to Dharamshala to Saif where they will plan their Diwali together. Saif is shooting in Dharamshala for a film, and I have never been there, so Taimur and I will join him there. We are actually looking forward to setting out. It will be great to travel to the mountains and spend time in the open air and sunshine. It’s been a year where we had to be at home for a long duration. So, going to Dharamshala and being there for a few days will be great.”

As for their plans, Kareena says, We plan to keep it very quiet and spend as much time in the open as we can. It’s obviously not going to be a big Diwali, and I am very happy with that, I would rather have it small this year.”

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone reportedly angry at her manager after leaked WhatsApp chats

Speaking in an interview Deepika said, “It’s been a difficult year for many in different ways [owing to the pandemic]. So, what we intend to do is, to stay at home, do a simple puja and spend time with family.

Padukone plans on keeping this Diwali lowkey. “Honestly, we are going to keep things quite low key, keeping in the mind the sensitivity (of the situation) towards the environment and the people around us. It’s been a difficult year for many in different ways [owing to the pandemic].”

I wish for everybody, good health, and peace of mind. And that’s my prayer for people most of the time, even when I wish them on their birthdays as I feel that’s the real core of everything we do. Everything else is secondary,” she added.

Talking about her favourite part about Diwali she says, For me, it’s the diyas as I am all for the light. Also, in my family, everyone’s names — dad, Prakash, mum, Ujjala, sister Anisha — including mine, are actually different synonyms of the word, light. Hence, Diwali has always been an extra special festival for us, and lighting diyas is my thing (smiles). Keeping them ready, readying the wick, putting ghee and lighting them, during the pooja, is what I look forward to the most.”
