Akshay Kumar is all set to pull off his gangster avatar for his upcoming action-comedy flick ‘Bachchan Pandey’.
Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, and Jacqueline Fernandez have come on board for this Farhad Samji directorial.
Well, that’s not the end. There has been one latest addition to the ‘Bachchan Pandey’ cast.
As per India Today reports, the ‘Mirzapur’ actor Pankaj Tripathi has been roped in to play a pivotal role in this movie.
According to the sources, “While Kriti and Pankaj have worked earlier in Luka Chuppi, Akshay will be teaming up with Pankaj for the first time. Both are known for their comic timing and unusual choices and one cannot wait to see the creativity that both these actors create on-screen. Pankaj will be joining Akshay, Kriti, Jacqueline, and Arshad in Jaisalmer.”
“It was Sajid Nadiadwala and Farhad Samji’s idea to rope in Pankaj Tripathi for a pivotal role which will add a lot of humor to the storyline. It’s a huge ensemble cast which will be shooting together for 90 days,” the source further revealed.
While the movie is expected to release in 2021, the filming is scheduled to begin from January in Jaisalmer and will continue till March.
