He was last present in Amazon Prime’s Nishabdham and has also ventured into the South Indian cinema space apart from Bollywood.
However, recently rumour had it that Madhavan was gearing up to play Ratan Tata in a biopic based on the life of the great Indian industrialist. However, to our dismay, the news was confirmed to be FALSE by the actor himself.
A fan tweeted out to the actor questioning him whether or not he was going to play the character of Ratan Tata. However, Madhavan replied to the tweet saying, “Hey unfortunately it’s not true. It was just a wish at some fans will make the poster. No such project is even on the pipeline or being discussed.”
Are you as disappointed about this as us? We would’ve loved to see him in action as Ratan Tata.
Madhavan will be seen next in former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, Nambi Narayan’s biopic titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect which also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo.
