This upcoming sports-drama was earlier scheduled to release on August 28, 2020, but got delayed due to Covid-19.
However, the wait is now finally over. Shahid’s upcoming movie ‘Jersey’ is all set to release on Diwali. That means November 5, 2021. Yes, you heard this right.
The actor took to Instagram and wrote, “JERSEY releasing in theatres this DIWALI 5th November 2021. The triumph of the human spirit. A journey I am so very proud of. This ones for the TEAM ….”
This movie also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in pivotal roles.
