Actress Ameesha Patel was recently accused of defrauding Ajay Kumar Singh, a producer who Ameesha apparently asked to invest in a film.
Apparently, she had asked him to transfer INR 2.5 crores in her bank account right before exiting the project.
As per a News18 report, the producer had met Ameesha in 2017, when she’d allegedly asked him to invest in her film Desi Magic. On the 27th of February, Ameesha posted a tweet clarifying that the rumours remain exactly that and no such thing had happened.
Patel tweets, “As a public figure I wake up to hilarious and ridiculous rumours on the professional and personal front repeatedly. I see old rumours and gossips resurfacing constantly. C’MON GUYS.. GET A LIFE!!! Enjoy every moment of Gods gift to us .. just like I’m doing. Cheers.”
