Rakhi Sawant has been in news for quite a long time now, thanks to Bigg Boss 14.
Now, Rakhi & her brother Rakesh have allegedly landed into trouble.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, an FIR has been filed against Rakhi, her brother Rakesh, and another person named Raj Khatri at Vikaspuri police station, Delhi.
Shailesh Srivastava, a retired bank employee, has reportedly accused the Sawant siblings of alleged fraud of Rs 6 Lakh. The first complaint was filed in 2017.
According to various reports, the victim met Rakhi’s brother through Raj to start a business. The two, then, apparently decided to co-produce a film based on Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s life. Not only that, but they had also supposedly planned to open a dance institute in Vikaspuri.
As Navbharat Times reported, Rakesh apparently took Rs 6 Lakh from Shailesh and promised him that Rakhi would be a part of the dance academy.
According to the report, Rakesh & Raj reportedly gave the retired banker a post-dated cheque of Rs 7 lakh. However, after reaching the bank Shailesh found out that the signatures were wrong.
Reportedly, Shailesh tried to reach out to Rakesh multiple times but didn’t receive any response from them, that is when Shailesh decided to lodge an FIR.
Meanwhile, reacting to this, Rakhi told Spotboye that she has taken the legal route and will file a defamation suit.
“It has nothing to do with me, my legal team will file a defamation suit soon. This is a publicity stunt and our legal team will take action,” she said.
