After Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh is all set to reunite with Alia Bhatt for a Karan Johar directorial.
But there’s some more exciting news involving Saif Ali Khan’s handsome son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.
As per a Pinkvilla report, now that Ranveer Singh’s ‘Cirkus’ is almost done with the shoot, the actor is going to move on to his next with Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by KJo and is supposed to go on floors in the month of June or July. Being a Karan Johar film, it’s bound to have romance in it. The report further says that the two actors will be undergoing selective workshops to study their characters. The shoot is said to take place in several locations within India.
Coming to the more thrilling news, Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to enter Bollywood as an Assistant Director for this film. A source reveals, “There are no plans of launching him at present. He has come on board the film, just because he wants to understand the process of filmmaking. He is a young kid, still studying and yet to even decide if he wants to be an actor, director or something else.”
Ranveer is going to sport a complete modern cool look with all those jackets, glairs, hats, torn jeans, whereas Alia’s character is said to be slightly subtle as compared to the leading hero. It’s a light-hearted, rooted love story, without any social message, the kind of film that the audience has resonated Dharma with through the last three decades.
The source adds, “Karan is all charged up and excited to make something in this space after such a long time. He was exhausted in the pre-production of Takht, and when he decided to put it on the back burner, the sole idea was to let it loose and make a fun commercial rom-com that Bollywood is devoid of at the moment.”
