With the pandemic having created a boom in OTT content, it is not surprising to see actors slowly jumping ship.
Be it Abhishek Bachchan or Shahid Kapoor… more and more actors are making their digital debuts. And if latest reports are to believed, next in line is – Ajay Devgn.
Looks like Devgn’s web debut will happen on Disney + Hotstar. Some time back, he had left fans puzzled with his Insta post, wherein he had asked everyone to call him ‘Sudarshan’. Since Hotstar was tagged in the post, people assumed it was about his OTT debut.
As per Bollywood Hungama report, Ajay Devgn will be starring in a web series which is a REMAKE of the British psychological crime drama show ‘LUTHER’. Ajay will reportedly be playing the role of the detective.
“Yes, Ajay will be making his OTT debut with the Luther remake that is jointly being produced by BBC India and Applause Entertainment. Once ready the show will be aired on Disney+ Hotstar, and an official announcement of the show will happen sometime next week.”
The report further said that Ileana D’Cruz has been approached for the female lead opposite Devgn. Ferrari Ki Sawaari director Rajesh Mapuskar will be reportedly helming this project.
