Veteran actor Dalip Tahil is known for his work in Bollywood movies like Baazigar, Mission Mangal as well web series like The Family Man.
His son Dhruv Tahil, is a model and an aspiring actor. However, looks like Dhruv has landed himself in some legal trouble.
Recently, Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell had arrested Dhruv for allegedly procuring drugs. His name surfaced after police had interrogated arrested drug peddler Muzammil Abdul Rahman Shaikh.
As per HT report, Shaikh had been found with 35 grams of Mephedrone and booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Upon seizing his phone, it was found that the actor’s son had been in contact with the drug peddler on Whatsapp since 2019.
Dhruv had allegedly bought drugs multiple times; having deposited money into Shaikh’s account atleast 6 times!
When senior actor Dalip Tahil was asked to comment on his son’s arrest, he told TOI, ‘”I don’t want to comment at the moment.“
