The ‘Dangal’ girl Faitma Sana Shaikh has steadily carved a niche for herself in Bollywood.
The 29-year-old was appreciated by both the audience and critics for her performances in the Netflix film ‘Ludo’ and the anthology ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’.
While Fatima likes to experiment with her characters in every film, we hear that she is all set to try her hand in the thriller genre.
If this Peeping Moon report is to be believed, Fatima will reportedly headline ‘Ribbon’ director Rakhee Sandilya’s upcoming investigative thriller. In the yet-to-be-titled movie, she is said to be playing the role of a young police officer, who has reportedly been assigned a sensitive case.
As the report suggests, Fatima has already signed on the dotted lines and will soon be accompanied by an ensemble cast. Reportedly, the film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors in January 2022.
Meanwhile, Fatima will next be seen in the Netflix thriller drama ‘Thar’, co-starring Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. She also has the Hindi remake of the popular Tamil political drama ‘Aruvi’ and another web anthology lined up in her kitty.
