Last seen in Sardar Udham, his next movie ‘Sam Bahadur’ is also a biopic, based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, who was India’s first Field Marshal.
War hero Sam Manekshaw is known for his heroics during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War when he was the Chief of Army Staff. While Vicky is playing the titular role in the biopic, Dangal duo Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are confirmed additions to the Meghna Gulzar directorial.
As per the new announcement- Fatima will be playing Indira Gandhi’s role while Sanya will be seen as Sam’s wife Silloo Manekshaw.
