Amitabh Bachchan and Babil Khan (Irrfan Khan’s son) will co-star in a new movie.
Produced by Shoojit Sircar, this slice-of-life drama is titled The Umesh Chronicles. It will be directed by Sweden-based filmmaker Pooja Kaul.
Peeping Moon report states that Big B will be seen in an extended cameo role, while Babil plays a servant boy. Sircar and Bachchan have already worked together before for Piku and Gulabo Sitabo.
The Umesh Chronicles has commenced shooting in Lucknow. It’s being said that before premiering in India, the film will be showcased in multiple international film festivals!
Talking about Babil – he’s making his Bollywood debut with the Netflix film Qala.
