One of Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic films, co-starring Rajesh Khanna is being remade!
An official remake of Anand was announced recently. The original 1971 film was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
The film is currently in the scripting stage; even the director is yet to be finalised, updated trade analyst Taran Adarsh. NC Sippy’s grandson Sameer Raj Sippy is co-producing the Anand remake with Vikram Khakhar.
Anand Movie Synopsis:
“Anand, a terminally ill man, sets out to live his last days to the fullest. His doctor, Bhaskar, undergoes metamorphosis due to his optimism and decides to write a book on Anand.”
