Get ready to go back to the 1960s with Zoya Akhtar‘s upcoming coming-of-age, live action musical movie, The Archies – the Indian adaptation of the popular comic. There is fun, love, heartbreaks, friendship, freedom and whatnots.

The highly-anticipated The Archies teaser was dropped recently at the Netflix Tudum event in São Paulo, Brazil.

The Archies stars a bunch of fresh faces including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Dot, Mihir Ahuja and Yuvraj Menda.

Set in the fictional hill-town named Riverdale in 1964, the movie is set to give you a major nostalgic ride with the iconic ‘Pop tate’ and rock n roll to retro-styled outfits, bicycles, skates, toy trains and milkshakes.

Produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti under their production house Tiger Baby, the release date is yet to be announced.

The Archies marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan‘s daughter Suhana, Amitabh Bachchan‘s grandson Agastya and Janhvi Kapoor‘s sister Khushi.
