After garnering rave reviews for his terrific performance in Qala, Babil Khan is back with yet another Netflix movie titled Friday Night Plan. The teaser of the feel-good comedy-drama was dropped today.
Friday Night Plan also stars Juhi Chawla as Babil’s mother and Amrith Jayan as his younger brother.
The movie revolves around the story of two unsupervised siblings who set out to execute a ‘crazy plan’ as their mom has to stay overnight in Pune. In the teaser, Babil is seen going out, showing his dancing skills and flirting with his classmate.
Written and directed by Vatsal Neelakantan, Friday Night Plan is produced by Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Kassim Jagmania.
Talking about his character in the film, Babil said in a statement –
“My character is scared of failure and that’s why he’s always protecting himself and planning life too much. His failure of failure is because he lost his father, and that’s the only thing I could relate to… I’m person that allows life to guide me. I don’t make plans, I don’t strategise or over analyse. I am a go-with-the-flow person.”
